Job Description Datacenter Operations Engineer: L1 level - Saudi Nationals only
  • Monitor the Datacenter Facility 24/7 and alert management in case of emergency.
  • Record the Readings for the critical equipment’s installed.
  • Co-ordinate for maintenance activities of HVAC, LVPANELS, TRANSFORMERS, CHILLERS, FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.
  • Responsible for the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of data center hardware, software, and related infrastructure
  • Provide the Work Permits for any activity related to IT/NON-IT services and ensure safety standards are adhered.
  • Work with project managers to plan server resources and set-up timelines for projects.
  • Execute against project plans to implement software and hardware installation and upgrade projects.
  • Responsible for the methodical shut down of critical building systems in a Business Continuity situation.
  • Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technician.
  • Maintain data center documentation as assigned. These include maintenance verification documentation, blueprint red lines.
  • Report & escalate any abnormalities to the Team Lead for Swift action.
