Job Holders main responsibility but not LIMITED to:

  • Communicate with ships and agents as required to manage the traffic of ships.
  • Assist on planning traffic within the limit of operation.
  • Liaise with customers, pilot and assets.
  • Receive and act in case of emergency calls.
  • Maintain a logbook for all VTS activities.
  • Coordinate with Operations for berth allocation, daily shipping movements, and repair ship berthing to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate with pilots and marine assets to ensure no operation delays.
  • Manage all updates and upgrades of the VTS equipment and charts.
  • Oversee VTS and Port Control operations.
  • Improve quality and efficiency of customer services.
  • Work on shift basis to ensure the VTS room 24/7 operational.
