  • The primary purpose of this position is to assemble equipment according to engineering specifications and manufacturing blueprints by utilizing a variety of power tools, equipment and processes.
  • This position is responsible for working as part of a team in a production environment to ensure that all products are delivered on time and meet or exceed customer expectations.
Your responsibilities
  • Perform various assembly operations using a wide range of power tools and other equipment / processes.
  • Builds / assembles equipment as per internal assignments and standards Extrapolate the necessary assembly information from drawings, standards, manuals and QCPs as needed Refurbishes older components Disassembly, cleaning, stacking and storage of assemblies or components
  • Assists the Foreman with assessments on equipment that are due for refurbishments Performs parts replacements or repairs as needed Maintains tooling, equipment and vechiles.
  • Completes all documentation as required Work overtime or shifts when required including s/by duties Perform basic lifting and rigging as required
  • Visit customer sites to install, commission or remove equipment on an ah-hoc basis
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition and free of hazards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of assemblies and components for compliance with quality standards.
  • Meet daily production schedules and maintain production flow.
  • Assist in making modifications to equipment and processes.
  • Provide assistance to other departments when required.
What you bring
  • Qualified Artisan: Fitter or Fitter & Turner or related trade
  • Understanding of drawings, part lists and QCPs Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
