As a Senior SAP Hybris Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust e-commerce solutions using SAP Hybris. This role requires strong expertise in backend development, an in-depth understanding of SAP Hybris architecture, and a proven ability to deliver scalable and reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Hybris backend components and extensions.
• Implement core functionalities such as product catalog management, order management, and promotions using Hybris platform capabilities.
• Integrate third-party systems, APIs, and services with SAP Hybris to enhance platform capabilities.
• Work closely with SAP team to ensure seamless integration of backend services with the user interface.
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend services with the user interface.
• Contributes to the overall architecture and technical design of the e-commerce platform.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the SAP Hybris system.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to standards, and mentor junior developers.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SAP Hybris implementations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

Knowledge , Skills , Experience

• Bachelor in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in SAP Hybris Commerce development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with build tools like Maven/Gradle and version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with SAP Hybris modules like Commerce, Product Content Management (PCM), and Order Management System (OMS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of data modeling and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Hybris Developer Certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in migrating legacy e-commerce platforms to SAP Hybris.
