Jr. Oracle CC&B Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Oracle CC&B Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Utilities applications, specifically Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) or Customer to Meter (C2M). This position requires a solid understanding of design and development processes, programming expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development:
• Work on the design and development of Oracle Utilities applications, with a primary focus on CC&B and C2M modules.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Develop Groovy scripts or object-oriented solutions to enhance application functionality.
• Programming Expertise:
• Write, modify, and optimize SQL or PL/SQL queries for application development and reporting purposes.
• Ensure high-quality coding standards by performing unit testing and code reviews.
• Analysis and Troubleshooting:
• Analyze business requirements, propose technical solutions, and create detailed technical design documents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CC&B and C2M applications in a timely manner.
• Project Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle Utilities applications within the larger enterprise system.
• Actively participate in sprint planning sessions and status meetings during Agile or Waterfall project execution.
• Lifecycle Management:
• Assist in managing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of Oracle Utilities projects, including requirement gathering, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Document technical solutions and maintain proper version control to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, highlight potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support knowledge transfer sessions and mentoring of junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience:
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in designing and developing Oracle Utilities applications, specifically CC&B or C2M.
• Hands-on experience with Groovy or object-oriented programming for technical design and development.
• Technical Knowledge:
• Proficient in SQL or PL/SQL programming with a strong ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with the configuration and customization of CC&B and C2M modules.
• Analysis and Design:
• Background in business and requirements analysis, with the ability to convert requirements into detailed technical designs.
• Proficiency in creating design documentation and supporting functional and technical teams.
• Project Methodologies:
• Understanding of SDLC processes, with hands-on experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with other Oracle Utilities products or modules, such as MDM (Meter Data Management) or WAM (Work and Asset Management).
• Knowledge of web services, XML, and integration techniques related to Oracle Utilities applications.
• Experience in performance tuning of Oracle database queries.
• Basic understanding of utility business processes and operations.

Pay: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼14,000.00 per month
