We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in finance or accounting, with prior experience in the logistics or FMCG industry being highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accounts payable aging report, ensuring timely identification and resolution of overdue payments.
- Communicate with vendors to address payment discrepancies and negotiate favorable payment terms when required.
- Record and track all settlement activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Prepare and distribute periodic accounts payable reports to management.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve payment issues and improve payment workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding payments and vendor relations.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to enhance payment efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial operations, with a focus on accounts payable management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to professionally interact and negotiate with vendors.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
