MEP Testing and Commissioning

JASARA PMC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an MEP Testing and Commissioning Engineer. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the testing and commissioning processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies for MEP systems to ensure project compliance with specifications and standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and verification of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing installations.
• Perform functional testing to ensure systems operate as designed, identifying any deficiencies or issues during the commissioning process.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to synchronize testing activities with project timelines.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of testing results, reports, and commissioning records.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams throughout the testing and commissioning phase.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and quality assurance protocols during testing and commissioning operations.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, timelines, and any issues affecting testing and commissioning efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6-10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of MEP systems in construction projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and their operational functionality.
• Experience with testing and commissioning methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations pertaining to MEP systems.
• Proficient in using testing tools and software to document findings.
• Knowledge of safety practices and quality standards in the construction industry.
