Senior Manager - Project Control (RES317)

As a transformative leader in the entertainment and leisure sector, Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Manager of Project Control to champion our project management efforts. In this vital role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining comprehensive project control processes, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.

In your capacity, you will lead a dedicated team, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver accurate project forecasts, detailed schedules, and insightful financial analyses. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving performance improvements and promoting an organizational culture of accountability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust project control frameworks and procedures.
• Supervise cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for all projects.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, including critical path analyses and regular updates.
• Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
• Prepare detailed project performance reports for senior management and key stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative environment by supporting and mentoring project control staff.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external project control standards and best practices.
• Engage with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives that support project success.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field; a Masters degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 9-12 years of relative experience in project controls, preferably within large-scale construction or development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams and driving project success.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management and control software, including scheduling and budgeting tools.
• Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent are preferred.
• Experience in the Middle East construction landscape is a plus.
